Allow me to reintroduce myself…

Hi! I’m Alice. I’m all of the following:

A coach for creative freelancers in Sussex.

In Sussex, we’re incredibly lucky to have strong creative communities, with many freelancers who follow their passion.

However, we’re seeing a skills gap, with creative and cultural sectors being our second-most priority for development.

In this complex society, young people are starting to forget their creative ambitions for a ‘safer’ AI-proof career.

I’m here as a certified life coach, member of the Association for Coaching and careers adviser to empower students, graduates and creatives to build a varied portfolio career, making their artistic dreams a reality.

Professional dance teacher and ex-performer.

To ensure I keep my creative passion alive and regularly fill my cup, I use my trusty Diploma in Dance Instruction and Musical Theatre degree weekly, teaching dance to an amazing group of students.

Dance teaching never feels like a job and has always been something I’ve done (either full-time or on the side). It’s also one of the more rewarding jobs, as progress is very tangible and measurable… you see students improving every week!

A workshop facilitator for schools, sixth form colleges and universities.

In line with the updated Gatsby benchmarks, I provide a range of student-based workshops and bootcamps, and CPD for staff and leaders.

With six-week bootcamps, one-week work experiences, three-hour and one-hour workshops available, I lead practical and inspiring sessions to support your aspiring creative, or neurodiverse high-achieving students (and staff).

A Careers Adviser at a top 1% sixth form in Brighton & Hove.

And I love my job! One of the many jobs in my own freelance portfolio, I maintain connections with local employers, schools and universities while providing 1:1 careers advice to a cohort of over 3000 students (not single-handedly of course).

The student support team are second-to-none - and they’re very supportive of my independent coaching business. A real win-win!

An ADHD UK Ambassador, and ADHD burnout & productivity coach.

I won’t be giving you conventional productivity hacks or another rigid routine to add to your mental load…

I will be encouraging radical self-acceptance & compassion, coupled with neuro-affirming tools to help manage executive dysfunction.

I believe in using the ADHD sparkle as a guiding light; we can follow the fun, whimsy and passion to create a lifestyle that makes most sense to you.

An ex (burned-out) secondary school English teacher.

While working full-time in secondary education wasn’t for me, I am at my core a teacher. It’s a huge part of my identity and has been instrumental in shaping my values… a core one being work-life balance, having not had one at all in the three years I worked in the industry!

Without teaching, I wouldn’t be coaching, and I wouldn’t have had my ADHD diagnosis either. So much to be grateful for!

And I suppose, as a small business owner, I’m also the CEO, Head of Marketing, Head of Finance, content writer… jack of all trades!

So that’s my portfolio of careers. Hopefully I can use one (or all) of them to help and support you very soon!
